He was born in Bukayriyah in the Qassim region in 1379 AH.
He is one of the most famous reciters of the Holy Qur’an in the world.
He was able to memorize the Holy Qur’an when he was not twelve years old.
Abd al-Rahman al-Sudais was known for the special tone in his voice that humbles hearts and his excellent recitation of the Holy Qur’an.
The month of Sha’ban of the same year on Sunday, 22/8/1404 AH, in the afternoon prayer, and his first sermon was in Ramadan of the same year.
